Leaving ITU after 144 days

This is the moment my lovely sister in law, Nicola left the ITU at Papworth Hospital.

After a long and complex illness, with numerous life threatening complications, Nicola received a new heart and the opportunity to be with us and her boys.

We have enormous respect for the amazing staff at Papworth and the fantastic work they do for their patients and families.
